After all they are expecting an air raid, so all the lights should be out. And it would be great if there was a way to fake the guy's death in the first Baker quest. Maybe have him sneak out and then burn the place down. Although that probably requires a lot of work on the hub map.

Will think about it! problably actual patch wont be last patch. But now, we're focus on La by night launch!
Yesterday I used VTMBedit's dialog tool on wargames and it turned up quite some issues. Many of these were harmless, just empty lines and similar. But there were also some more serious things like broken links or issues with the line numbers. I have fixed the line numbers and resolved the "broken link" issues the best I could.
For this I had to insert a new npc line into Beckett's dialog, so this line will need a new voiceover. Same goes probably for one line in Lacroix.dlg where he calls the female player "sir".
I also made some minor text edits.
The attachment contains those edited dialog files. Feel free to use as you like.
I also ran into some trouble in the library due to the fact that the "books" are removed 5 seconds after reading them. I tried to reread one of them. That was no problem because I did it within those 5 seconds. But then I couldn't end reading because at that time the entity no longer existed.
Will check it Malkav... actually I don't remember the logic I used in library... About voices... well this is the worst of the mod, I know. Darkfury sent me yesterday a 300MB file with voices and music, that I haven't tested yet. Will do next month... so probably there will be some voice improvement in next patch.

I have finished my addon for War Games... well for now.
While I do wait for argik's review on this, it might be worth to post it here as somebody might wanna try. It's quite huge adon update... after 5.4 and it's based on this update.
Contains completely new soundtrack as well as including old WarGames music adds, enchancments... ...mixes and fine tunes music and sounds... Almost completely removes original Troika music.. Adds over 10 new voiceowers using Elevenlabs which sound quite good... Adds quite many dlg's tweaks and tunes... with many lines fully voiced...
Check it out and let me know how it plays...
It's not perfect and some changes will be done in the future but overall it works fine... most things are tested already.

Hey i know... somehow I couldn't and even VTM Bloodlines link won't work... but I will correct this if possible... That was just for sake of uploading files. Yeh they deleted. xd...
Ok I did tried again with link for Bloodlines and have founded WarGames link... I hope that will work..
Anyway might be workink now... just need to wait. I did that for saving files for future testing and work... So I hope it will work in next 24 hours just You need to search in case I will have no time to post. I'm away from tomorow but will try to post link. Otherwise You know where to look.
No idea what causes it and what it means, but every time I open the console on a War Games map the whole page is filled with repetitions of this line: CMaterialVar::GetVecValue: trying to get a vec value for $envmaptint which is of type 1.

Hi. I did update and linked Mod db site if anyone is interested to check this out... links above -- but needs to be authorised... That is my 3rd try, if they delete it, only Argikt will have files for now.
Anyway... As for my last play thru... patch 5.4 bug's which I have encountered...
---- Bishop stuck... he can not die... also when he is cursing me on the stairs sometimes... Pc gets stuck on them. ---- Workers hideout... in Portsmouth... When you trigger too many at once they start shooting from distance and often game crashes... checked this a few times... ---- On Caiaphas map -- hideout... there is a hole in the ground and you fall off the map... it's on the left side when you are facing the brige with houses before you but on the bottom of the map. ---- Game sometimes couldn't load Berlin map and crashed... while I try to travel there. ---- When using Obfuscate it's not possible to go past and avoid cannon fire in the warrens part... ---- Nossie triggers Masquerade violation just by passing a guard by LaCroix's place... dunno if that's intented but hey he seems like a vampire himself... also as Nossie it's a bit funny and not fair as you loose Masquerade levels quicker. ---- I still had one stuck with prisoners exchange when picking up the phone before quest starts... ---- aAlso in Zurich lender quest --- when you are doing aristocrate there is something wrong overall... with dlg's, quest description and quest itself... Dunno how to tell this... all is kinda not correct. ---- Poland mine map still sometimes loads with strange shadows effect's crash and some weird behavior... -- Honestly I did play a melee based build and loot all that i could... the the mine gold too... but ended with 4300 cash... it's too little. And having persuade 8 as substitude makes whole Akibell quest appear too late in the game. I would suggest to change this to 4000 or even 3000... And persuade 6... When quest appears earlier there is better game flow and travel..

If it is on many/all maps then it is likely a model/skin that has been re-used from what I can see on source games malfunction or maybe a .vmt issue with normal maps. I'd be looking at which props used across these maps that are exactly or modified version of original first.
If not then it would need each map to be looked at and that is a massive task. I guess mappers split maps in 2 parts then try find issue. If one half shows the issue then split again. Divide and conquer.
Wesp5 I must agree with MooCHa in this regard, please attempt to limit the editing of others' posts to removing actual violations of the forum's atmosphere of order and civility or removing malicious or untrustworthy links. Frequent and excessive editing also clogs up the forums' Security Logs, which makes it more difficult to filter through the events to determine if anything particularly alarming is ongoing.
