So what do I need to do for the Mercurio quest not to fail? The game gives me no option to send him home.

How to save Mercurio:
- Don't betray him when Vittorio ask otherwise it won't send you an help request.
- Avoid Stephano in the empire lobby, if you didn't, you are still able to save him but you will have 5 mn to do the cluedo (the day is coming and the timer for the go back home is triggering). You can avoid Stephano by using the prostitute or using the vent.
- In the beachhouse don't feed on the guy that is outside, that will trigger an alarm and there is high chance that they explode the house with the gaz leak, which will break the computer, it could also not happen. Obviously don't fight them because they still could explode the gaz leak.
There is a clue in for the computer (but I need to move it because for now it is perception 2) in the sand, the password is sugarbabe, read the email. => that's the part you are missing and so you have failed (I need to remove the failed quest if people didn't start I know).
- With Mercurio, investigate the place and found the journal, then you can take him home (it is only happening if you know that there is a contract on his head which mean having read the email in the beachhouse).
If you don't find the journal, or leave him without investigate he will die
If you find it, find the contract and take him home Mercurio will leave LA for a while, he will be alive, he will ask you to take care of his cat.
Depending if you saved him or not the Domain won't be the same, you will have a murder scene and you will be teleported at the end of the battle in a clinic to pick his key. Then you have to find his journal this part is going to be not mandatory ie it will be possible to leave without investigate but again there will be consequence.
At the end of this intro, it will be if you manage to save your sire or not of the assassination attempt (for now it is only possible to save her).
Also it is not a big deal if you don't save him, for now his ghost is ready but he is useless. And you won't see him in this part (it will come when you will be able to navigate between hubs in the third part as you will have access to all hubs and domain. But I think at the end, if he is alive he will be able to provide you with some stuff and some info, now that he has his voice, I am not limited to his interaction as before.
I found the note in the sand even without Perception but the computer at the beach house is off.
P.S.: I figured it out! Turning the power at the beach house off and on doesn't restart the computer. You should fix that! Also even when I use Dominate to get the Astrolite, both thugs attack me when I take it. Still the secret door does not open in the cellar and I get the "search" line although I now found everything. You need to fix those or remove this whole "replay Bloodlines" part .
P.P.S.: I continued to the cafe. I like the idea with the fire alarm and the door, but the map itself could be more detailed. It's very cubic ! Also you shouldn't use the unique Grout model there and you shouldn't use my Lasombra model either. This will confuse people about the connections between the mod and the main game without end! Last not least I suppose I have reached the end of the mod, because the hub looks rather unfinished and after Bob directed me to the guy on the basketball court, he had no valid reply. Also on the first floor of Bob's house the handles are floating and it's much too dark. I could give more bug reports on other things if you want and I also suggest you redo the quest logs. There is a lot of background info, but no goals what to do next!

There is only one way that it is off is that if you turn off the power before and you kill the guy before it restarted, I just cross check and by default it is on.
You are right for the dominate, I tought I implemented it but no so I will fix this.
For the power, it is a bit complicated, due to the "stealth path" like turning off to have the guy leaving, I have tried to fix it if you turn it on, but it generates bug if you do it more than once, I think it has the same behavior in the game, or this part has changed since I look into it.
For the secret door, you need to use it twice one for the first one and one for the second.
It is not yet the first opening when using the switch in the freezer room.

You can reuse models like Victor and Maria and others, if it fits your story. But when your story plays basically at the same time as the main game and the Lasombra is a Sabbat recruiting people in the patch and suddenly a Giovanni in your mod, people will get confused. Just ask Barrabah or MooCha or other model gurus for reskins here and you will be fine!

But that really doesn't make sense. If Maria is to be the same Maria Rossilini she should use the same model! As for the others, maybe just rename them to show off that Mercurio is not supposed to be THE Mercurio from Bloodlines.

I agree. Better release a beta to get feedback and helpers than don't do anything ! As for the models, there was quite some discussion about what can be done on the Discord channel recently.
Okay, here are some other issues I noticed. If you don't understand what I mean, I have screenshots:
- When Elena brings you a woman to feed from it shouldn't be the Elena model only with another color. => model
- In the tutorial area with the truck I managed to clip through the boxes inside to get outside the map. => Ok I will fix it
- There is an office room in Elena's haven with a big mirror, but the mirror shows a not existing door. => See below
- Why is Mercurio offering you merchandise while being sunk in the ground at the Sin Bin dancing area? => Start of the game getting access to whares
- There is a rat, I don't remember exactly where, that can't be used to feed on. I fear there are more. => I feed on rat all the time in the domain and beachhouse and tutorial, so I don't know where it could be, but it could be a non feedable rat.
- I like Bob's safe behind the painting, but there is nothing in it! Also nothing in many other containers. => Will come in time
- When Vittorio talks with the Asian guy, he uses the same wording of "wunderkind" as he uses with you. => Yes, part of the story, that his a trigger for a clue.
- There is a knife floating in the Empire hotel kitchen and the hidden duct is missing at the beach house. => Ok I will have a look, but it is intentional for the beachhouse, there is no need for it the money is elswhere.
- At the villa there is a Chunk looking guy floating in a store room. Also what is the issue with the tape? => Ok I forgot to set his position on the floor manually. The tape is use later (depending what you did with the record), congratulation you found it!
- A door there has a locked icon although I believe it can't be opened. Just use no icons on these doors. => I will see those are entry for the villa interior so for now they are not used but after they will be.
- There is again a very Elena looking woman at the villa, better use another model that can't be mistaken. => That's the default blueblood, I mean it is the citizen and the only one in base game (as I use the other one for Maria) so well model.
- If you approach Alfredo from the other side, you will be teleported to the front of him which feels weird. => It is tricky as there is no space for the player behind Alfredo as it is the trigger, or I need to make him run in the other case.
- In the conversation between Vittorio, a ghost and Gary, Gary's back looks like it is using a Chunk model. => Mask of thousands face and the "template" is the one laying in your comment above.
So for the reflection, because this is something I don't know how I have managed, but you can see a normal reflection generated by hammer yes, because, this room is the same as in the story one and the other don't have this property, I am not able to explain it except maybe due to the other part of skybox texture that mess with this one.
What you are taking for a door I suspect is the 2 painting behind cause everything is reflected the sofa, the 2 door on the side, everything including the 2 paints when you approach.
On the other map the giovanni story, this part is working as intended (a view of outside) and this is crazy. just map sp_giovanni_story and you will see the difference.
I noticed it at the begining, but honestly, I am still amazed that this is relecting and I struggle to have a reflection elsewhere in the game like the empire lobby toilet don't reflect for example.
I have tried to reproduce it to have a nice window effect but I didn't manage.
Like this is a mistery, so it should be as in the story, but before breaking something like this I wan't to understand what's going on, or at least being able to reproduce it.
You could check in game that's the first map, the tutorial one, just approach the window and you will see, it reflects everything except you but that's normal in hammer.
Maybe argikt could have an explanation, he know better the water texture and the reflection than me, but yes thanks to remind me this bug so if someone want to help me understand that would be great.

I really don't get why you face so many errors except I forgot something in the fire alarm path and you have taken the only one like this, even the other testers didn't face that. So I am wondering how you achieve this.
I think I find it, if you have met Augusta and use the fire alarm that's probably one case I didn't check completly, I will have a look.
For the model you see more Augusta than Maria, so the change is done on this. Model etc....
For the prop model I like the model and it fits well with Augusta.

It is in the villa, the rat is not feedable because it is elysium and it will trigger the guard if you feed on it, which is messy with Vittorio, it is a bit complex to manage those case of putting the mess in that part (after there is the masquerade so that's not anymore the problem) basically I don't want to manage this case that's too long/complicated for only one rat feed, you can feed on the human in the park close to the statue.

Overall the reflections in Bloodlines are very buggy, like at the museum the mirrors show open stall doors in the toilet although they are closed. I suspect they can only reflect static entities, so I suggest to avoid big mirrors !
