This quest can be gotten at the beginning, yes. But is not an early side quest, it's planned to be played at middle game or more... even if you can dominate and enter, you will find a high inspection check inside.

But this is not good game design. It will have players move there, only to get stuck! Also the quest log is quite full already with two entries that I don't know how they relate to a quest in the first place (about LaCroix).
I suppose you will have to reload before entering this map.
As i've written, reloading is useless... i don't know why... i fear the map could be somewhat corrupted...?
Even closing the game doesn't work.
Okay i believe to have figured it out... the map is not accessible because the taxi cutscene works only once, and without loading the cutscene the map is not showing...
HOWEVER, my first thoughts: the mod is very interesting, i like it a lot, however the main quests from LaCroix seem to require too high stats for a fresh char. Aside from this, i'm looking forward for more!

I continued to Hollywood to earn some XP, more cool new models and more black areas, but no crashes ! One final remark to Santa Monica: when it rains there are almost no drops and the wet road looks wrong.
Hollywood hub: - Again you can noclip through the bus station maps as they are not solid. - The junk at Isaac's door is full bright, you need to use the other model. - There is grass sticking right through the wall behind the closed Red Spot. - Junk at the wrecked building is fullbright and some sticks through a wall. - The big junk heap in the wrecked building has a hitbox that is too large. - There is a wrong texture scale on the wall behind the wrecked building. - If there is no quest at the cemetery you could close up the hole inside. - In one sideroad there are some weird blocky artifacts visible in the sky.
Sin Bin: - There are twin models standing in the first two booths, choose one other. - I got the Nosferatu alert compass there while playing a female Assamite.
Lucky Star: - Another dark area on ground floor besides the pool. - The Asian guy near the fireplace is coughing too often.
Ground Zero: - You need to find some new posters, they can't be the same as 10 years later. - The Bloodlines alpha screenshot shouldn't be on the TV set there either. - Replace the blank wall to the secret film basement area with a locked door.
Endron Building: - The AIN file of the map is not up-to-date. - You shouldn't be able to hack the terminal if you don't know what to do. - It looks too similar to Kamikaze Zen, at least remove the name plates. - There are additional lights on the ceiling to the in-texture lights there. - I found an empty freezer container, place some loot or medicals in it. - The key to the safe room still has the name "Clinic Stairs Key". - If you unlock a safe room door, the other half will stay locked.

It happened to me too, with Assamite too (but i've not tried other Clans).
After this... the quest log from Kilpatrick say "Sunrise Diner", but it is Surfside Diner. And MAYBE the lady owner of the diner looks too young (this mod is set 13 years before Bloodlines, am i right?).
Please give players the option not to kiss LaCroix's ass. Give the option to be at least indifferent, if not outright rude. I can't play if I have to be friendly to this arrogant piece of junk.
Thanks for keep reporting Wesp5, there's some of the things that we know, and others we don't. About cemetery, yes there is a quest that involves the cemetery, but it doesn't start on the hollywood hub, so it must remain open. (I suppose you noticed that hw quest conditions are lower level than other places, I must find a way to motivate the player to explore this zone first...)
Runza77, if you see the alert compass is because I forget changing alert of nosferatu in the map (assamite replace nosferatu), you don't find this problem with any other clan. (I understand that assamite will be the most popular clan for this mod) Those thing will be taken care of for V2. Thanks for playing.

Maybe just give the other quests later in the game or as in the original, do not open all hubs from the start. Because right now it kind of breaks the flow to go elsewhere.

Yesterday I continued playing, but before I post my usual list of comments let me make one thing clear: I am having a real blast revisiting (mostly) old places and experiencing new quests there ! Yes, many maps and dialogues have issues and sometimes the console shows errors, but the important thing is that you created a completely new story to have fun with. So whatever I post below, my intention is not to criticize the mod, but to give feedback so it can be improved! Also although I am not a native English speaker myself, I believe my English is better than yours, so I offer to spellcheck all text files once I am done. Not now though, because I don't want to spoil any surprises ! Before I list map related issues, here are some common problems that I noticed:
1. The main menu screen looks very similar to that of the plus patch which I don't like. I recommend to remove the blood rain, fire and icons and instead show your cool subtitle zoom all the time or at least have only the subtitle float around in the background.
2. You don't seem to use the G.Story_State variable which has two side effects: a) the loading tips are always the same (Elysium) and b) the vendors will never update their inventory. So set this variable during the main quest to get these features to work.
3. Many vampires have glowing eyes, but as far as I know this is only a feature of Gangrel when they stay too long in wolf form.
Box pallets: - There are several intermediate states for boxes on pallets to be destroyed, check my Zhao map. - The box pallet at the warehouse has sparklies even before you get the quest which is confusing.
Computer passwords: - You seldom have password hints near a computer, so players without high hacking have problems.
Warehouse area: - You can clip right through the palm trees as they are not solid. - There is a missing texture for a decal on the wall in the service building. - I would expect the big glass windows to be breakable like in the original game. - The cabinet with the three drawers in the office building has a misaligned texture.
Endron building: - The sparklies do not disappear if you have already looted everything out of the chest. - If you are beyond the reception the camera will zoom weirdly when the cute manager talks with you. - I visited the map earlier and killed everybody, you should better lock the front doors at first.
Hollywood hub: - In the wrecked building bums can be heard talking although they already left. - Please change the program outside the Asp Hole, it can't be that it's the same 10 years later.
Ground Zero: - In the cutscene with the owner and the screenshot he looks small, keep him near to the camera.
Downtown warehouse: - From the outside the roof is already broken although from the inside it is still fine. - One of the goons got stuck on a box chair and was an easy kill. Make them clipable on attack. - There is an empty container there that could contain some loot.
Empire hotel: - You can still open some vent covers but then not continue. Better lock the covers themselves. - Lots of dark areas in the upper floors including a bathroom, check your compilation settings. - When the (spoiler) girl appears, she comes out of nowwhere without any effects which is weird.
Last Round: - Damsel has her normal Bloodlines dialogue which is out of place and time 10 years earlier.
Hospital: - Please remove Grout's tape. We already know it, it's very long and goes over the real dialogue. - The computer in Grout's room and the other one still have all the Santa Monica clinic stuff on them. - If the guy in 1D is so dangerous, why is his room the only one not locked? Please add a switch.
Downtown: - I noticed more misaligned textures below the temple of boom advertisement and the warehouse door.
LaCoix's shop: - The stone texture at the front has the wrong scale, the stones look too big and low resolution.
Port map: - When exiting make the usual map change icon appear on Mercurio's car.
Global map: - When jumping on a trash container you can look over the fence outside of the map. - I would place the invisible wall at the underpass at the barrier and not at the top. - The building there with the two towers looks completely out of place in LA. - Inside there is a table which is missing the glass plate on top. - I can go just behind the counter and hack the computer to get the key which is wrong. - On the way into the server room there is a weird block sticking out of the ceiling. - Outside you always hear a train but there is no train track nearby.
Bank map: - If you look outside of the huge grate at the back you can see floating stuff and map holes. - Not as bad but similar if you look outside the grate gate at the front you can see map holes.
Asylum: - You can clip right through the railing of the upper floor because it is not solid.
Pier: - If you break the restaurant door you should hear some sound effects. - Remove the brush if you killed the guy, it looks weird and I could have used my hands. - The inside of that building is much too large for the outside and needlessly so too.
Frank map: - Lockpicking the door moves you out of the map, probably the other doorknob is missing. - The fat guy in that map clips into his chair and does not move if I fight nearby.
SM hub: - Why is Trip's Pawnshop called like that if Trip is not inside? Please change the sign. - You changed textures at the clinic to wrong scaled stones which should be reverted. - The palm trees are not solid and the player can clip through them.
Jenna hideout: - The map looks very much like my coffee shop and when she leaves one guy clipped in his seat.
Junkyard: - Some grass is floating in the air. - You really need to replace the brother model, the same low res one is used in clubs too. - Two airplanes are visible in the sky there and at the pier, this is a skybox error I fixed. - You should remove the dog you already used elswhere as both can get stuck in each other.
Pier: - The door towards the roller coaster is missing and you can see the unfinished map area. - Why is Jack standing the whole time on the pier? If he isn't used later better remove him. - There is a floating lamp halo sprite near Madam Liotta without a lamp to generate it. - The (spoiler) thing in the trunk is too big to fit, ask MooCHa to scale the model down. - Two guys near Jenna's hideout are blocking the path so you can't just move around there.
Megaherz: - Again there shouldn't be a screenshot of the Bloodlines alpha, use a Doom screen instead. - There is a poster at the vent entrance which clips right into it. Also no 2000 posters. - Cameras are lying on the floor but I can't get them. Is this connected to Leila's quest?
Tatoo shop: - Why is Barabus looking younger? Or do I imagine things? Vampire don't age at all. - During the dialogue there suddenly everything went completely dark.
Vamp arena: - You should make the side room look a little bit more different compared to the original map.
But now for the real problems: Where are these backrooms that Leila was talking about and why does Mitnick not appear at the pier control door although the quest log says he should?

About real problems, the backstage that Leila talks about is not said directly because I want that player thinks a bit, and I don't have the impression that quest logs have all the answers. But if you don't find it, in the empire hotel backstage, you can get the filming stuff.
Now the real, real problem... Mitnick should appear at the pier control door, if not, there's a real problem... can you try G.antena = 1 or G.antenna = 1 (better try both) and go to the pier? Thanks.
BTW... For your comments, I understand that Ming-Xao is now in the city, is Andrei too? Or you don't reach this point yet?

Great! I know I am a perfectionist, but otherwise I wouldn't be patching the game 20 years after release. I believe what can be fixed should be fixed !
But if you don't find it, in the empire hotel backstage, you can get the filming stuff.
I think this needs a hint, because why would a hotel have filming equipment? I was searching Hollywood and I was really confused when I found cameras at Megahurtz.

Weird, I can see it when I look at the map with VPK Tool. I can only imagine that some other Python error stops the script...
Hi, again a very cool mod. I also think we should be allowed to spite LaCroix. I had a lot of CTDs around Skyline Appartments / Empire Arms Hotel and Downtown Hub. Also I had crashes leaving appartments and once taking cab from Santa Monica to Downtown when I chose Hollywood and then Downtown there was no CTD. I've seen a few grammar errors but I'm not native speaker so I might be wrong. Yesterday I got to Pasadena.
I was supposed to talk to mages but I had no idea where to find them. I found Traditions and the dialogue with the NPC suggested that we met before and I'm already onboard with the plan. When I completed the second assigment I'm supposed to talk with Master Rambam but the doors are locked and the dialogue is still the same.
Anyway, I enjoyed mod and I'm very happy that Bloodlines is still undead I'm wondering as bits and pieces suggest that actions from War Games are acknowledged, it would be very cool if it would be a sequel but nevertheless it's a very good mod.
