Concerning your bar brawlers in the Last Round, you should add a script to change models if the player happens to be male Brujah or Gangrel to avoid "twins".

Or use it in a mod where clans or models are swapped but thanks for noticing
Just for clarity, it doesn't work. That "onteleport" was temp code
But even the teleport of Bach I didn't find anything related to, this is what make me curious, I don't know how they manage to teleport him, or I missed something.
I think it's regulated on the vampire.dll file....
Yes this could be, or on the class level.
So it will be hard to trigger the SpawnTempParticles, but maybe (I am not sure) you may try to use OnDamaged, I can't rememeber but I think it is damaged once and then he has the shield for few other it or time I don't know.
If I remember bach don't get damaged with the shield so it could work
I gave a look into the library entities, but I can't seem to activate the particles. I will try to change Bach's type to Lasombra and see if it causes some issues....
Then I gave a look into vampire.dll with notepad++ Found this interesting code at 31241 line: m_iBachTeleportState Maybe something can be done with it.
We really should consider decompilation for this game, there's so much to discover in the engine code, like this Bach teleport business. And think of the fixes we could do for the UP!
I've been thinking - we have the leaked HL2 beta and the SDK for Source 2004. Between those two codebases, that's a significant number of functions that are identical (or very similar) for the purpose of Bloodlines reverse engineering. Then it's just the original Vampire functions and extra .dlls, which is still a huge amount of work, of course.
Does anyone have any experience in decomp? I don't believe it's a feasible project for a community of this size, there's simply not enough interest. Most high profile game decomps are of very popular titles.

I have thought about it a lot, even for some other stuff like disciplines, clans, items, well plenty of ideas.
There is a bit in the video that I am finishing now, but I can't, let's say, ask Activision or Paradox to do something.
So I will try to poke Tim Cain and the developers about it.
But I was thinking to try to get the rights to do an HD version, like Activision is still the publisher and the owner, but I pay to enhance the game.
Only from a technical point but if Paradox is ok, I am fine to introduce other stuff from the lore.
If people have better ideas I am all for it, I don't know much in that case what could be done.
That's the only way without decomiling and having some law problem, we need to convince them or make some noise or change game.
Like really I am thinking a lot of this, I will be free of work at the end of the month and really want to go back to gaming industry, hence, I will finish the chapter 1 of Hecata then I will see.
I really want to create a game and with preference for WoD, otherwise I have thought about my universe but well I am a bit fan of WoD

Changing Bach to Lasombra broke his teleport. But removing the basic clone did the job , now to make a proper particle effect and see if it looks good....

There was interest a while ago, which made huge progress, but sadly it was crushed by a cease and desist letter.

I wouldn't trust the vultures. Look at Redemption Awakened: it's creator is going to make huge compromises due to havinv approached Activision and Paradox....

What was the name of the decomp project? I didn't find any evidence of previous attempts when I looked last week...
Also, on what grounds was it a cease and desist? In most countries, the right to reverse engineer software for personal use is protected. Did someone try to do something stupid with copyright like redistribute the assets along with the buildable code?
The name was "Project Vaulderie" and the creator "Atrblizzard", you can still find him around. I don't know if he actually tried to decompile the Bloodlines code, but he tried to convert the game first to the Alien Swarm, then Source 2 and then Unreal engine, as far as I remember...

I think that's the only way at least trying, but they need to get involved at least having their yes.
