hey I was wondering if its ok to install the newest unofficial patch in the same game folder I have CQM on? since I know you can't use both in tandem but I was planning on installing the newest unofficial patch in another folder instance or whatever u call it and play from the modloader, is it doable? or do I need a 2nd fresh install to play the newest unofficial patch?
I think the most important thing is that it is consistent. Either it should be possible to buy all books twice, or none. So if you want to keep Nwrrwin's script, you should also keep the books away from Trip. My personal preferrence on the other hand is to allow the exploit, but make the books more expensive. In that case it doesn't matter if Trip sells them or if the player has to find them.

Depends on what you call the "game folder". If you mean the base directory where vampire.exe is located, then yes. The Clan Quest installer has created a subdirectory /cqm for the mod, and in the same way, the patch installer will create a subdirectory /Unofficial_Patch for the files that are unique to the patch. Or do you use an ancient, pre mod-loader, version of cqm? Then you should reinstall everything.

Yes i mean the base directory, however since there is already a unofficial_patch folder inside & CQM already comes baked with an older unofficial patch too Im wondering if it will screw things up, since the installer for the newest unofficial patch doesn't only create a "unofficial_patch" folder but instead also replaces the vampire.exe , some dlls in "vampire" folder and amongst other scripts & stuff in there too that im kinda affraid they might conflict with something CQM already might depend on.
Even if there is an /unofficial_patch subdirectory in your installation, cqm does not access it. So it doesn't matter if this directory is overritten by the new patch. Concerning the changed dlls, that is only for removing the old copy protection and for adapting the game to modern computers. So there shouldn't be conflicts.
I was just starting a new game on the VTMBup115rc9 from 5th April and noticed when you select no(none) history from the drop down after selecting another history, the drop down text and description text area is completely blank. This happened on all male/ female clans I tested. Trem, Bruj, Malk, Tor.
I am aware of that, but it seems to be hard-coded. Even if I add a "None" history, the other one will appear too and empty again. For now I made the None dissappear from the start, that might be better...

Ah, I thought you'd know but for all I knew it could've been something that just showed itself again. I don't usually select none again 👍
Small bug detected in 11.4 (no idea if it's still present in 11.5rc). The research requirement for the Weekapaug item is 2 in the python script, but item descriptions says 4 is necessary.

This seems to have been fixed in 11.5 already !
As for the final patch, I count the days between fixes and somehow something always comes up again after about two weeks. Most of the time it's so minor though, that I won't even mention it in the readme...
