I'll assume that you're referring to individual VTMB projects and not Planet Vampire as a whole, therefore I've altered the title of the poll correspondingly. If you would like to discuss donating towards the forums themselves, you may message me privately, although maintaining the forums is entirely free at present and incurs no costs which would require donations.
However, as a general rule within modding, it is up to the discretion of individual modders whether or not they desire to accept donations for their projects, which makes a poll such as this arguably rather pointless.
It is also worth noting that legalities related to copyright and fair use may additionally complicate the matter of accepting donations for certain projects, nevermind that many modders would prefer to keep profit separate from modding.

I agree with Caedia on this. It's up to each modder. I have a Patreon, but it's out of necessity. I'd prefer not to monetize my art/mods, but Capitalism forces it. I hate that it's necessary.

If someone want to give you £££/$$$ thats great but I think I'm more biased with paywalls is all to get mods and that is where I come from thought wise.
I have a Paypal account and if somebody wants to give me something they can. But they need to find the account themselves and occasionally people spend me a few dollars !
I guess that's up to the people if they want to offer a drink to the modder, but for me I would rather prefer that people band together and try to convince Paradox (Bloodlines 2) or Microsoft/Activision (Bloodlines 1) to provide us an upgrade of the engine (with no regression) so we may mod easily, that would help a lot.

Sadly, If there isn't major cash to be made from it then they wouldn't bother with providing an upgrade.
I can't see it ever happening with a few people being vocal.

Honestly, there are a few factors that could play in our favor:
Paradox has lost quite bit of money and their games are not the top sellers, there is a good video on it.
The gameplay reveal trailer of Bloodlines 2 is just a nightmare in term of ratio like/dislike and comments, continuing on this path and that would be again a loss of money probably people like us will buy it but they want a major sell and that's not the sequel of Bloodlines that people are waiting for.
We will release mods for the 20th anniversary even if it is not planned, that will happen this year so just if we deliver better quality and if we communicate a bit, that would make some noise and maybe at least they will reconsider the game, I know again.
If we loose the character sheet and all the stuff in it there is no point to mod bloodlines 2, I loose a lot of cool stuff as a storyteller whitout a character sheet and I am not sure that the combat is a win (need to play for this) but the models could be easier to import. I see more or less the same "engine" as Werewolf with ability tree, eagle eye vision and with more dialog.
So maybe there is a card to play, maybe Microsoft will realize the potential of Bloodlines now that they have Activision and maybe they will do something with it. Or maybe Activision's branch, at least they have the number of sells and the pricing is still 20€ after 20 years that should appear in a chart somewhere.

Paradox will just want to get it out the door and take whatever cash they can get back and let it burn. It will not be my cash. I'm will not be poking the turd with a stick. Maybe £5 and I'd nosey but full price no, just no!
Maybe, Microsoft will see potential but that potential is $$$ and if BL2 flops people that would be those extra people paying may associate Bloodlines 2 with it and think not going to bother. Microsoft could see it that way , too. The game would have to be sold at full price in my eyes as they'd need to profit and provide the funding to make a remake of VtM:B the best it can be.
I'm trying to get some mojo going trying to take an interest in modding for the 20th but I'm not feeling it. I'm trying to play around a bit but that whole drive after 30 mins just dies out and fizzles. 30 mins longer than what I wanted to the last few months so there is a plus side to it I guess..

It will come back hopefully, I will try to have something deliver soon, just need to change the voice for this first part of this first arc and it should be good for the alpha, maybe that will pick your interest for modding again.
I will try to have at least a bit of noise, that's the minimum I could do then after we will see what happen.
I agree that modding is just a hobby. Of course some people can monetize it, it's their choice. I'm just relaxing after work and yes, I like the process of building maps. I'm very happy to learn new here and happy to meet other modders and discuss, work with them!

I agree. If BL2 flops, which is rather probable in my opinion with all they have shown yet, nobody will be willing to spend money for a new project related to the Bloodlines franchise anymore.
