But this is all WoD lore that is not at all mentioned in the game. Troika seems to have never thought about giving Disciplines to ghouls! Knox and Grout's ghouls and of course Heather don't use any Disciplines either, so I will keep it that way. It might be a thing to insert into the updated PnP mod though, but then it should be done for the other ghouls too...
People should DEFINITELY give ghouls more credit - they can still walk on the daylight for goodness sake.
Mercurio is definitely one of the better examples of the best aspects of being a Ghoul and what they can offer as an ally.
He could easily be like a Hunter with insider information.
I freaking love ghouls, especially the veteran ones.
I used to love this ghoul character in my tabletop game that seemed to be prepared for almost anything, he was like Batman if Batman wasn't an edgelord and also used guns. He knew when to keep his head down and that made him EXTREMELY powerful since he was well-liked in the local community and also somewhat respected.
He was loyal to a sire though, but he also had much sympathy for the Nosferatu clan since, in his own words, he felt like they were treated as a ''lower class'' like Ghouls were generally seen, and so he treated them as equals.
Also, he used an M16 hidden in Elysium (I assume from a hidden stash, he must have them all over the city) to deal with some annoying shovelheads. He also used a kevlar under his suit. That was no rookie.
He also had a gun with him at all times - I don't doubt he had a way to quickly make fire too.
Nice dude, I hope I'll see him again in another story.
