Compiling a custom PC model with DDLullu's MDL Formatter

This is really neat. Are there any more tutorials planned like this?

I'm not planning anything else, no. Model replacers like this are the only type of big mod I intend to make for VTMB. I don't know too much about modding VTMB otherwise, to be honest. And anything more I could say about editing models is covered by existing tutorials for Blender/the Source engine.

I've tried to get some motivation going yesterday and I just can't find it. Not just with Bloodlines.

Got to deleting Jeanette after rotating and scaling Boss Bitch Juliet Starling as think it would be fairly easy.

There is no need to feel intimidated by this. The instructions which Ilex gives in detail would likely demand an hour or two of your time on average. It is merely a matter of familiarizing yourself with your software and the entire process. It will certainly prove frustrating at first, but eventually it will begin to make sense.


On a different note slightly related to this thread, would anyone still happen to be in contact with DDLullu? I remember him relatively actively posting on the old forums, but he has not been seen since their closure to my knowledge. Recommending him to join the new forums would be both appreciated and beneficial, assuming that he is still interested in Bloodlines, naturally.

Sadly, DDLullu is very hard to contact. Even in the old forum he just came and went as he liked and never answered to a PM...

I would be required to do a fair bit of digging through the .sql files in the FTL backup Signothorn sent me, which is a rather massive archive. Assuming that I did happen to stumble upon his email, and assuming that the same email address is still in use by him, there's a reasonable chance that any emails out to him would be ignored, especially if he rarely responded to Private Messages on the old forums. We'll simply have to hope that he finds his way here eventually.
