Creating .nsc files Question Submitted By: Evil_Lord Hello I have finaly been able to get my maps to work, I have been able to test them in single player through embrace my problem is I want to export them in the form of a .nob file ie for mulitplayer use. Now I know how to make a .nob file useing winzip and have checked that is already in your great FAQ. But my problem is when I export them useing embrace it makes the level files as in .nil etc etc and it makes the Scene file as in .nsd, Problem is it does not make the Chronicle file as in a .nsc file . Any help you could offer would be a real help thank you in advance. Answer Category: Scripting
You have two options... you can open one of the existing game .nsc files in a text editor (Notepad) and change the relevant information for your map... like the name of the .nil file, .nsd, etc., or you can download and install either of the two very excellent user-written tools that will do this for you. These are Chronicle Director and Chronicle Creator. Your best bet to find these utilities at this point is a search at the NMB for the latest links... I'll try to locate them for you and link them later
