Bloodlines Lead Programmer replays the game after 20 years!

Bloodlines is a miracle.

I remember a german article detailing the ordeal the devs went through.
Relations between Activision and Troika were quite tense in those days.

Some programmers even complained about this in the code of the game:
"it's one o' clock in the morning, what am I doing here"
"Activision sucks"

Or the situation of Rik Schaffer who was borderline homeless. 


In the end the devs poured their soul into the game.
You can feel that sense of hopelessness in the maps and the ost. 
The mood of the game is so on point with the source material.
