Since it's the 20th anniversary, I wanted to release a super early 0.0.1 Alpha build of my RTX mod.

This links to the article, which has some info about what the release includes, known issues etc.
It also has a link to the download, the download page has instructions in the description expander, but also a text file for installation instructions inside the .rar file.
-You WILL need an RTX card. I've been able to test it on a 2080, 3080, and 4080.
-You will also need UP Patch 11.5.
-If you install extras, remove the DGVoodoo files before running the game, or it will overwrite the d3d9.dll that contains the remix linking.
What does this mod contain so far?
-Complete from scratch prop and texture replacement for the haven, hallways, mailboxes, and other apartments in the sm_pawnshop_1 map.
-Random other various texture remasters like tests for the streets, some sm_apartment_1 surfaces, and random other things throughout the game. Santa Monica street lamps, items like the blood bag and watches etc.
-A massive conversion of around 370 alpha masks to Remix compatible emissive masks to handle self illuminated surfaces.
-A rough lighting pass to make sure overbright lights are turned down (Remix converts some lights to being brighter than the sun).
-Some lighting tests in some levels.

Major Known Issues:
-Transparency and Particles are broken currently. In most cases they simple wont show up, and things like the rain will severely impact performance. This is something Nvidia needs to support and fix with updates to Remix.
-Water is untouched in this build, it looks absolutely atrocious!
-Light and shadow flickering due to occlusion, visibility, and frustum culling (this version of source doesn't seem to have console commands that disable it)
