The result is absolutely incredible. The software they used to generate these AI voices is called ElevenLabs.
I also post this for modders here and out there who struggle with voice acting implementation in their mods. Today generating voiceovers with AI software is totally viable.
I invite you to judge for yourself, the result is quite astonishing:

I currently utilize ElevenLabs to generate substantial numbers of voice lines for my Medieval II: Total War mod "Dragon Age: Total War", and the results have proven to be far better and far more suitable than anything I could have possibly hoped for from lines extracted from video games or volunteer voice acting work.
Be advised however that if you intend to make use of ElevenLabs for a modding project, the default set of AI voices offered by the site and the quota limits offered for free will likely not suffice for your needs. I would recommend purchasing at the very least a cheap Starter subscription so that you are able to use the instant voice cloning and voice design features offered by ElevenLabs, unless you are entirely adverse to spending money on anything related to modding.
