What do you mean, sorry I don't go to discord mainly as I find it hard to follow conversation on a special topic, but I guess this post is intended to solve this
I might have something of interest. Somebody contacted me on Reddit who is actively try to restore the cut multplayer part of the game aka "Counter-Bite"! I hope he turns up here sooner or later as I pointed him to to this site and the Discord channel...

Now, That would be really interesting if it could be restored after all this time. I'd consider playing it if it was done well.

I guess for this, the cs maps should be a good starting point just to avoid all crashes related to G and map.
At least the cs maps are free of scripts.
If he wants I can send him some maps that I managed to have made working.

Ok so ideas, sorry for the wall of text, but people should read those:
FUNCTIONALITY: In the next release of the Hecata Chronicles, hubs will be there, at least the first one and they will include the double loading function that makes them extendable. The Hecata has always been something like this for me, a playing ground to test the engine and what can be done in terms of modding. So I will release one day all hubs without any quests or Hecata related stuff, this mod will allow people to plug and play stories that they create. It is based on LA but it could be applied on any settings. I will present an example that is fictional but I need to include people: Argikt is a fan of Nines and creates a short story based on Nines' crew so he plugs it to la_hub. Wesp is a fan of Isaac and creates a short story based on Isaac's barony so he plugs it to hw_hub. Wallit if fan of Therese (because she is a powerful 6th gen) and creates a short story based on sm so he plugs it to sm_hub. All those stories could be shared between us (and other people) afterwards and then every one could play the stories of the other with the same character and not screw up the save games. For those who know that looks like Neverwinter or Solasta or the old Redemption kind of. But for sure that's an infinite game and with some coordination among modders, it could really expand the gaming experience. I have already some functionalities that will be added, like a night timer, a haven, an outfit, a car. So afterwards it is just a matter of people creating stories and sharing them. And I almost managed to create my dream game related in the World of Darkness. (I will try something for this).
So this is almost done, and I got my computer so I guess I will start creating a tutorial so people could start creating stories and play with this.
SEETTINGS: Those are based on ideas based on the fact that model are not easy to change / create / import easily, if Activision want to help for this, I create medieval mod, werewolf mod whatever story
Detroit: according the lore it is pretty messy, Gang that discover vampire has taken the city, the cainite are in the hidding, sabbat use to control the city and ashirra have a strong presence. So you have plenty of faction the only things is to create clan/faction pack to be able to select those faction has we are limited with the engine.
Hong Kong: because we have plenty of model, could be interesting to have the end of the Cam there or a more historical approach during the japanse invasion for example.
Boston: because some model could be taken as the one in Swansong, Bazory for the Lassombra and Berrel(can't remember his name) for the Ventrue Justicar. But I prefer the Boston settings full of mess not the happy ending os Swansong.
Amsterdam: Because we have prostitute, plenty of brick texture and it is also a battleground in the lore.
I would one day love to have Iberia by night but again model, so I guess it would be for another game.
A werewolf mod based on Beasts Courts but it is more a personal project.
For me it is not the problem of ideas but what could the engine be able and even if it is close, it is still not there.
On a personnal notes, I am in a process of changing life, ie returning on gaming. I will send the concept that I have to Paradox so at least I will give it a try and don't regret it, hopefully it will be this week. After they will choose but I will be relieved on this point. I am a big fan of Wod since 30 years and I have this idea this very long time, at least that's worth a try.
I will have some time to finish the Hecata mod, create tutorials to share my knowledge and help people build their stories if they are interested in the concept above, stream Bloodlines 2 so people could have a look before buying it but that's not make a leaving so I will create my own game (if Paradox don't accept the project), basically, I give me one year to reconvert in gaming.
So that's it, sorry for the disgression but my ideas and my living are a bit intricated actually

Also some quest ideas that I had for the LA Chronicles mod so if people want to take those no worries, I can't manage them all! The LA Chronicles intended that you might pick your side and have a different story: For Nosferatu you would have started as Bertram's child, a quest could be created for cleaning up the Mitnick quest before the SI investigates them. The idea of the story is to move from SM because Therese is crazy and strong.

You converted some CS maps to Bloodlines? That might indeed interest him. At the moment he is trying to get players to be able to hurt each other. He already managed a way so the server can kind of partake in the game and does not need to float around (I believe he made gravity so high the server can't jump).

There is a thread with some pictures in the forum of some cs maps that I managed to have running in bloodlines
I am just curious if he managed to open the code for this or if it is just based on the config file?
