Cant walk between rooms

Okay, I am willing to admit that I am an idiot (or a rookie, you choose) this is what I want to do. I can work from here I suspect. I want to create a room, create another room next to it, and have no wall in between such that you can walk from one to the next. No doors. I have so far (besides getting frustrated) managed to create said two rooms and take the wall out and see the second room but I can't walk to it.

The problem is probably related to the floor that was a part of the two rooms. If it was two seperate floors, I suggest deleting one and expanding the other to cover both rooms, or make sure that both floor touch each other at the maximum zoom in Embrace
