Hey folks,

Bloodlines Prelude needs a little help.

We need two models and a texture.

Model #1 is Robert Thorne. He's basically re-skinned version of the Santa Monica Blue Blood dude. Thorne can be seen on a Billboard in the game.

Model #2 is... I don't care too much, to be honest. Either male or female, doesn't matter. The character is only mentioned in the mod until you see him/her one single time. It's the head of the L.A. Sun newspaper, so a generic businessman/businesswoman is totally fine.

The texture I need is a photoshopped picture that shows Robert Thorne running for President in the election on November 4, 2008.

As you can tell, there's going to be some kind of brief glimpse into the future... maybe...

I'm not going to spoil anything

Can somebody help us, please?

Hi Entenschreck! I'm sorry, cannot help (I'm looking for help with some models for LA by Night mod too), but if you need some of those, feel free of dig inside war games mod for models, I think you can use sire model for example that will fit with your needs.

Nice! If you don't mind giving him a... well... slightly less patriotic tie, I'll take it

I think he would only wear this tie for his election campagne. With a normal one the model will be perfect.

- not a rapist (despite what the ongoing trials say)
- obey the mustache! vote for Robert Thorne

If I remember well there is some commercial spot about one candidate, I can't rememeber which one, but that could give some ideas.

I have just one suggestion, but it is absolutely optional. I liked the little America pin up button thing he had in the first version. It's something someone like him would actually wear, I believe. It could be considered to be a bit too much, but hey, this Bloodlines. I genuinely think that, if Troika had put Robert Thorne in the game, they would have used him as an exaggeratedly patriotic republican.

It's just a little detail, but it adds a lot to the character, in my opinion.

So, if it takes you less than five minutes to put it back, please do so. If it takes you longer than that, don't worry about it.

As for the campaign ad, I think the second option (not a rapist) feels like it could've appeared on an alternative version of Thorne's bilboard ad in Bloodlines, so I'd go for that one.
However, please don't put it on there in large letters, but more like a detail for attentive players.
I'd suggest Thorne's face in front of an American flag and the logo "R. Thorne for President" above. And beneath his face "Not a rapist (despite what ongoing trials say)".
