My modelling experience is 0. But I noticed that some talented modellers found the way to convert other games models in bloodlines models, so, the quality is impressive. There's any limitation? If original models could be redone, the game quality could be improved and dont looks like a 20 years old game...

I give you no more info because both are canonical characters If roadmap goes ahead we can announce the release date of V1.0 this month.

The second characters might become a memorable NPC, even more so with the right voice.
About the first NPC: a Black character behind a dark setting is hard to distinguish (or maybe that's the screenshot?). Working on the backround (making it brighter) and tweaking the color of his clothes might solve the issue.
Edit: also his "throne" feels too big for him, like he's a midget on a giant chair. ^^

Hello my fellow kindred. I'm happy to announce a date for the La by Night mod, v1 release. This work has been done by Avadonica, Paper-Boat, Barabbah and me mainly. I want to thank Strawberry_milk, Moocha and Marius17 for the models. Also Skeletoff, Lenuska and others that made models not intended for this mod but I used them. Finally I want to thank Entenschreck and Burgermeister01 too, to allow us little cameos of characters developed by them, and Wesp5 and Entenschreck tofor discussions with me about parts of the prelude plot to make this mod fit in the Bloodlines history and chronology.
That said, the questions that you really want to know an answer to: When will it be released? May 30 the mod will be on moddb and will be released when the admin approve it. What is the story? Set in 1991, in a city ruled by anarch barons, Lacroix aims to become the Camarilla prince. What will be included in the mod? The mod will include about 60-70% of the planned content, about 12-15 hours of gameplay. Some on the used models, places and bugs (lol) could be changed of in next versions to improve the final result.

Hello fellow kindred! As was said, LA by night v1.0 has been released. You can get in at: www.moddb.com/mods/la-by-night I won't speak more about the mod, all details are in the description. Just two hints if you allow me, the mod is not as linear as others, you have three hubs opened from the beginning, so if you can't advance in some quest because the skill checks are too high for you, don't worry, probably you can do another quest in another place. Inspection is typically one of the underrated skills, but this mod has some quests with inspection checks in dlgs and in a few places. Enjoy!

Congratulation on the release! I am already playing your mod and will give some feedback once I am farther into it. For now I have a huge problem though: I can't feed and this makes the mod rather unplayable! I looked at the code and can't find where checkFeed is defined... P.S.: Two scripts are indeed missing, I copied them from my patch and will continue. This is hunter code!
Okay, I played until I was supposed to come back from the bank but the game crashed (also the first time I moved away from LaCroix's shop), so here is some specific error feedback. And you really need a native spell checker! Has Max contacted you?
LaCroix's shop:
- The dirty car's is sunk into the ground. Also why would LaCroix sell such a junk car?
- You can see some kind of not centered disk beneath the cool rotating red sports car.
- The fire extinguisher on the wall is set too high, also the plate should be at the back.
- The rotating sports car is not solid, you can move right through it.
- There is a gap behind the cabinet in the office, move it to the wall.
Downtown hub:
- There is the top of a building floating in the sky and you can even see the skybox too.
- The entrance of the medical clinic looks too dark, almost as if a texture is missing there.
- I really didn't like your skinny Larry. I bet the original Larry was fat already as a kid !
- Behind Larry around the corner on the right are some weird textures at the windows.
Bank:
- The ain file for the bank level is not up-to-date, it is rebuild on entering.
- In the cutscene of the taxi arriving you can see the cabbie's feet through the car floor.
- Again the problem with the fire extinguisher hanging too high and wrong.
- You mustn't use the same radio loop, how could it be the same as so many years later?
- The register has a missing drawer, it's a second model that uses the same coordinates.
- The flowers in the display in the middle of the bank clip into the stone wall.
- The safe again is standing too far away from the wall, just move it closer.
- The new taxi front looks weird, better use the old one. It would fit the period as well.
I don't know why can't you feed normally, but I can. Probably it's some interaction with any other thing in your folder (if you are developing). But I'm sure it's a problem of your system.
I laughted a lot of with "the fire extinguisher on the wall is set too high", only you can complain about it, hehe, I like your critical developer eye.
All is noted, except "you can see some kind of not centered disk beneath the cool rotating red sports car", because this is the base of the platform, but maybe it could be changed for another texture.
