For this it is the RenderFX in hammer that define, I have found hologram and blue give something good with the transparency, I still need to play with it a bit.
For the transparency on mercurio how did you do it? Is it easy? Just to know as I have other ghost that wait I would like to know how to proceed to avoid taking your time.
Also I have few question:
I would like to know if it is difficult to make a water texture (2 at least) one for the giovanni exterior and one for the pool inside? If it is too long/complicated, I will remove the water for the outside or if possible modify the map in VPK tool for both.
Just changing the texture of the quest log for Chinatown would it be enough to use it as functionality? It is not done yet but I am thinking of using it as a storage for the character status and maybe other things, kind of a codex.
Is there a hand model in the game? Just to know if it would be possible to attach an eye on it and use it as for one ritual, or a reskin of the tzimisce things, but this kind of stuff is for later.

The idea about the codex should work, whatever you write in the Chinatown questlog file will appear there. EntenSchreck uses the original city questlogs as questlogs for part 1, 2, 3 like this. Last not least there are the lockpicking and casting hand models.

I have use this water for a sewer, but for example how to do the same but for a texture pool? I have check and and it will be probably easier for me to just edit the map with vpk tool, I am very crap with gimp.
For the quest do you know if there is somewhere a hard limit of the number of quests in one quest log (santa monica, etc....) just to know if it is feasible to use one quest log for all quests and the other for other things?

I think this should be possible, I never noticed a limitation but then I didn't add that many quest in the UP.
