Greetings Kindred,
As per popular request, a new forum has been created for the Planet Vampire community. Although this new forum is currently mostly complete, a number of elements are still subject to further change, polish and refinement. Any and all constructive feedback is both welcome and encouraged, as we seek to build the Planet Vampire forum once again into a place where all fans of Vampire: the Masquerade and the World of Darkness may discuss, engage and feel at home.
In lieu of our goals regarding the new forum, several improvements have been made over the previous Planet Vampire forum, with more to be conceived of in the future. Most notably, we now have Spanish language forums, there are member groups representing various Vampire: the Masquerade sects which users should be able to join freely, similar to the Discord, the default visuals of the forums have been modernized and improved, with variant forum themes to be created at some point in the near future for our members to switch between, some of which may be themes aesthetically styled for different clans. All generic forum icons will likewise eventually be replaced to better fit the atmosphere and theme.
At present, Phoebe/Ragged Robin and myself serve as the sole administrators of the forum. You may contact us with any important questions, comments and/or concerns that cannot be comfortably addressed publicly in the Planet Vampire feedback board. All rules posted in the Planet Vampire Discord remain in effect for the forums, yet we trust that strict enforcement of the rules will not be necessary.
In honor of the memory of Samspin and of the old Planet Vampire forums, may the new forums grow to be as much of a trove of information, WoD lore, roleplay and communal camaraderie and engagement as the old, if not perhaps moreso, and may the World of Darkness franchise some day be rekindled with new hopes, even if such hopes contemporarily seem to be so forlorn to many.
