That's not for me to say because I know literally nothing about Hammer and tricks that creators use to optimize their maps. But there's one thing I can tell you for sure: in my case removing WG models folder solved the problem.

Well, yes, I tried to use the best models for the best experience, but sometimes is hard to optimize.
In my experience, I suppose this will surprise a lot of people, decals are the more painful thinks for the engine...

Do you know why? I always assumed that particles are hard for the Source engine...

Also for a map prospective there is plenty of way to adapt, like the 2 statues above, if I manage to get them that would be the only one in the map and as pro_static and I can reduce the distance of visibility.
I really need 2 nice statues.

Thanks a lot Argikt, but they are a bit out of touch for the Giovanni mansion, the one from Strawberry_milk will work better.

After for the other one it is specific related to the entrance of the crypt, that would work great with oblivion sight but well we can't have everything.

It is more for the atmosphere, I will pass on that one.

In fact there is a templar, that could be useful but for something else, and then there is chinese statue, so those are really out of touch for the Giovanni mansion exterior.

But I will manage with the one from Strawberry_milk to have a kind of outside church with bench and column.

The other side is already done with the entrance of the crypt, and for this it would have been deadly to have the aformentioned statue, but I guess, I need to receive my computer and then have a normal blender install and see what can I do with it.

So that's not a big deal for now.

The gargoyle model from the game could maybe fit the role if I change the texture.

The Blender 4.1 Decimate Modifier is well Boss(Really Good).

I took Spike bust down from like 45k faces to 9.8K and got it in game with Vent male 3 armor. I deleted topology prior to that which I thought wouldn't be needed on Spike(neck, shirt on bust).

It really could make a difference overall ,optimising models that have too big a face count.

wallit I had a look at the LA Bearcat this afternoon and I really should take my own advice about limits..

Original is around 95k faces. I had it down to 9.9k faces and the just screwed the topology over. I cant waste anymore time on this but I did like the model.

Here is the wheel looking fooked with faces mashed up. Ignore the texture on it but can see its be nasty stuff and and I'd never be happy at this.
