Powerful Windows shell extension allowing to preview images. SageThumbs is a powerful shell extension allowing to preview enormous amount of image formats directly in Windows Explorer by using Pierre-e Gougelet's GFL library (XnView's author).
On install I unchecked update, for reference.
Maybe, Image Editing & Texturing could be a category. Which brings me to Gimp www.gimp.org The Free & Open Source Image Editor.
I didn't see it mentioned. It might be my eyes skimmed over it. It was on the more complete list. What about the Standalone SDK for Bloodlines?
I have added it, as well as Gimp that I totally forgot.
For the SDK, I have linked to the UP, it was a bit obvious for me, but yes it should be present so at least people know.
hi.. can anybody tell how to .. step by step change and add... new voice acting mp3 to the dialogue? Or point me to the tutorial? Please. some i can change some not... but what do i need to add voice acted line?
Mod dev guide says something but it's just confusing what to do.
Here are few step that I had noted somewhere, maybe that will help you and also refer to the valve wiki for image, I should receive my new computer soon, I will create tutorial after.
1 Create your audio file 2 Put all files together vcd, lip, mp3
If it is brand new audio (not conversion) don't put the lip it will mess the lip sync
If it is conversion you can put it
If you don't have a vcd, take one from the game and rename it
3 Change the vcd with the duration on the mp3
Open the vcd with Notepad++ or any other text editor
Open the mp3 with audacity => select all put the duration as the same format in the vcd
It depends if you have a conversion or not, if is is a new one, just keep it as simple as possible, I suggest to open few vcd for example, I can't explain to much on it as it should be another tutorial for the vcd
4 Open facelip Open the mp3 start with one and do the same process after I suggest to batch with all mp3 but if you have a lot that thing will make you nuts. Add voice duck => right click on the audio and select voice duck you might also put a 1 in the lip text file, I find it is quicker to edit than right click all the time
Extraction
If it is a conversion => right click click on redo extraction
If is is a new one => click on extract (around bottom left)
Save data to lip => right click save to lip (I think it is .txt but save as .lip) use the same name convention as mentioned by argikt above Change lip Edit subtitles => right click on the lip file and select edit subtitles (first one)
Check lip
If you didn't add the duck, change it here by putting 1 in voice duck at the bottom of the file (voice duck is used to the increase of voice, 1 start at max already)
Check that everything is fine, like the subtitles have been converted, voice duck and if you don't see funny things like blocks not closed, if there is a problem, erase the lip and redo it.
How to batch at least what I am doing:
1 Prepare all files and put it in the dialog folder except lip if it is new.
2 Open dialog file
3 Open lipsync and open all your mp3
4 Read the first mp3
5 Copy your dialog line
6 Extract the dialog line paste it
7 save lip
8 run the next mp3
9 change vcd
10 edit subtitles re paste your line
11 check and voice duck
12 Go to 5 and repeat
If you have a problem, just erase the lip and continue, you will batch all the errors after.
I had to remove sage thumbs from my PC as it made Windows Explorer hang on me like 6 times and I had to reset PC at power button on case. I had to do a system restore in the end just to make sure it was completely removed prior to initial install.

Just a heads up.
Ok, so I will remove it until further notice, if people read the conversation, they will find it anyway and know the risk.

Yeah, I think removing it is good call.
It could be that it works with so many extension enabled and thumbs causing issues. I'll do without.
